Throw




Preperation of throwing

With dominant foot behind holding the ball in your dominant hand, shoulders of dominant hand slanted backwards flexing your elbow backwards move the ball behind your head with majority of weight suported by your back foot.

Movement of throwing
Stepping forward with your dominant leg, extending your back as you step forward. twris your torsow to the side of your non dominant hand as you begin to extend your arm forward and your non dominant hand behind you using force from your hips as you motion to throw with your arms.

Follow through of throwing

Relasing the ball with your dominant hand, stepping forward with your back foot, dominant shoulder now slanted forward in fromt of the body as your dominant hand is extended forward following through in the direction thrown.

Drill-

You have people pair off into of groups of two with one football per group. Have both members of the group stand paralell to one another on a straight line, each facing oposite directions, with their non dominate shoulders facing one another. They will each throw the ball to one another and will step directley with the front foot at the target, pronating the wrist on delivery finishing with the thumb down, ending with your weight on your front foot as they pass the ball back and fourth




Catch

Description-
The participant will begin by squatting down with his feet parallel to each other making a wide stance. Then he will flex his arms placing his hands in front of his body making a triangle shape with his thumbs and fingers.

Feet positioned underneath the shoulders with knees bent in a squatting position. Arms flexed inverted infront of the shoulders with hands open in a diamond shape infront of the chest

Description
Feet positioned underneath the shoulders with knees bent in a squatting position. Arms flexed inverted infront of the shoulders with hands maintained in the diamond shape clenching the ball as it makes its way into your hands

Follow through of catching
Description
Feet positioned underneath the shoulders with knees bent in a squatting position. Arms flexed one the top of the ball one beneath it, maintaining possession and protecting it so that it is not stripped or fumbeled by an attacking opponent

Drill

Set up a cone that is 10 yards directely infront of of the quarterback. Have players line up in two lines on each side of the quarterback roughly 15 yards away from him. As the quarterback snaps the ball the person on the right line will run to the cone, stop, catch the ball and then continue through running, then go to the left line. Then the person from the left line will go rotating back and fourth.

Run


Description-
The participant will begin by placing his non-dominant foot infront of him bending the knee and leaning forward with most of his weight bearing on it. The back foot will be back behing the participant with the knee bent straight and with the foot on its tippy toes. The participant will then bring his dominant foot in front of him bending the knee, while the other foot is now behind him. The participant will then move the non-dominant foot back in front of him, repeating this process over and over.

Descrtion-
Starting off stance with dominand foot in front of the body flexed, while the non dominant foot is extended back behind, waist bent with chest leaning forward infront of the body squatting with body leaning low to the ground

Description

Drill

One to three Players line up on a line, facing the coach spread apart equal distande with room to run. As the coach holds the ball, he will move it either to his left right in front of him, or above his head. AS he moves the ball to the right, the players shuffle to she right, as he moves it to the left, players shuffle to the left, as he moves the ball over his head, the players run forward, and as he holds the ball infront of him, the players pack peddle.
